Who is Schmidt BV?
Schmidt BV is the specialist in high-quality plastic lift-and-slide doors. For more than 45 years, they have been developing and producing advanced sliding doors that combine aesthetics, safety, and energy efficiency. With their own profile system, they deliver customized solutions suitable for passive houses and low-energy homes. They serve window manufacturers, planners & architects, and private builders, among others. As a company with a passion for innovation, they are strongly committed to quality, sustainability, and collaboration in the construction sector.
The Situation
Schmidt BV is collaborating with strategic partner Exitable to accelerate innovation and digitization—and The Online Content Wizard™ is the tool that makes it possible. In December 2024, Exitable became acquainted with the wizard and immediately saw its potential for Schmidt BV. Their communication was then mainly fragmented and time-consuming, without a clear line or target audience-oriented approach.
The Challenge
- Content creation took too much (fragmented) time.
- Branding and tone of voice lacked coherence.
- Target groups (consumer, distributor, architect) were not approached with sufficient focus.
- Social media and newsletters were used ad hoc, without a strategy.
The Approach
In January 2025, change occurred. During a project meeting, value propositions, core messages, and target groups were sharply defined. After that, the deployment of The Online Content Wizard™ began, which Exitable implemented with Roman (the one-person marketing department of Schmidt BV) and Onne.
Workflow in brief:

Roman scheduled multiple posts, newsletters, and blogs weekly. Thanks to the carousel generator, visually appealing Instagram carousels appeared automatically according to a recognizable structure. All content was clearly stored in Google Drive. Additional integrated tools such as AI Prompt Magic (tone-of-voice, goals, target groups), the ‘Ideas Ahead’ function, and consistent visual branding (persona-focused) completed the system.
